This year in April LG rolled out LG G9 phone, and since then the rumors about LG busy working on mini LG G9 are all up in the air. The mini version of LG flagship phone LG G9 is likely to be in the pipeline of the company. The flurry of rumors has recently got a new direction with the tweet of Evan Blass, one of the most reliable phone tipsters. This weekend he tweeted with the confirmation of all those speculations to have links with the reality. Later this tweet, TechnoBuffalo claimed to get their eyes on a company’s leaked document. According to which, the company would likely to shorten the screen from 5.7 inches to 5.4 inches with 18:9 aspect ratio.
What Blass Tweeted About Mini LG G6
More from the tweet, the phone kept on hold because it has not got regulatory approval and most likely to be named as LG Q9. Evan Blass also divulged that the phone, mini LG G6 will have a downgrade of only one camera of 13MP. Besides, it has also brought to light that the phone will have 3GB RAM on board. However, there are high chances for the screen to receive little tweaks. Maybe ratio will seem like 18.5:9. This is somehow close to LG flagship G9 phone but exactly like the latest Samsung Galaxy S8 screen aspect ratio.
It is unfortunate that we so far have not got any further details about the specs of the phone or the company’s response. This leaves us wondering and making connections from the leaked rumors we have got by far. In all likelihood, the company would run the phone with the same Snapdragon 821 processor as its elder sibling, hatched just before few months. But, the rest of the specs or price will change a bit.
How Will It Turn Out?
According to Blass about the single camera in mini LG G6, it seems that if it offers a good price package; then people will compromise easily with the front camera. But, if the bezels issue will persist to be there, it may sound nothing but a normal LG replica style. Still, it is too early to comment on anything which lacks in official confirmation yet. We will have to sit back and see what this mobile giant would release.
However, it is worth noting that this is not the first time when the company has launched the mini versions of its flagship phone. In the past years, it has been LG’s trend to release the chopped down versions of its popular phones. Let us see, what the company is planning this time and how it will frame out.
