Your Shortcut to Smarter Tech

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 July 2025

Hey there,
I’m Farhan Rana, the guy behind Tech Reviews Online. First of all, thank you for stopping by and trusting this blog enough to even check out the privacy policy — that already means a lot.

I know this stuff isn’t exactly “fun” to read. But it’s important. So instead of throwing a bunch of boring legal terms at you, let me just talk to you straight — like I would with a friend.

I Respect Your Privacy — Like, Really.

I’m not interested in collecting your personal information just for the sake of it. I don’t like being tracked all over the internet, and I’m guessing you don’t either.

Here’s the deal:

I only collect very basic information, and only when:

  • You voluntarily send it to me (like your name and email if you use the contact form or sign up for my newsletter)

  • You browse the site (some non-personal stuff like which pages you visited, how long you stayed — that sort of thing, through Google Analytics)

  • Google AdSense (which I use to serve ads) drops a few cookies to show you more relevant ads

That’s it. No sneaky tracking. No creepy data harvesting. No hidden tricks.

Why I Collect Anything at All

Honestly? It helps me improve the blog.

  • If I know which articles people love, I’ll write more like them

  • If someone emails me, I can reply

  • If you subscribe, I can send you updates (but only if you choose to)

I’m not here to spam you or sell your info to some weird third-party company. That’s not what this blog is about.

About Those Ads…

Look, running a blog costs money — hosting, tools, time — and ads help me cover that. I use Google AdSense, which might show you ads based on your interests. They do this using cookies (tiny files that help remember stuff like what kind of content you’ve viewed before).

Just to be clear:

  • I don’t get access to your personal details

  • Google might show you ads based on your general behavior on the web

  • You can control your ad settings anytime here: Google Ads Settings

Links to Other Sites

Sometimes I link to other websites — like a product page, or a helpful YouTube video. If you click those, you’ll leave my site and land on theirs — and at that point, their rules apply. I always try to link to trustworthy sites, but I still recommend reading their policies if you’re concerned.

You’re in Control

You have the right to:

  • Ask me what info (if any) I have about you

  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time

  • Tell me to delete your info — no hard feelings

Just drop me a message and I’ll take care of it, no hassle.

Policy Updates

If anything changes in how I collect or use information — maybe because of a new feature, or an updated rule from Google — I’ll update this page. And I’ll always keep things transparent and easy to understand.

Want to Talk?

If you’ve got any questions about this policy — or even if you just want to say hi — I’m always happy to hear from readers.

Thanks again for being here. Seriously.
I don’t take your trust lightly. Whether you’re just passing through, or you’ve been reading the blog for a while — I appreciate you.

Take care,
